What exactly did the PM say yesterday? Why are our “secular” friends so riled up?
This is what the PM said:
“When they were in power, they said that Muslims had the first claim to the nation’s resources. What does this mean? All this wealth will be distributed among those with more children. The wealth will be distributed to illegal immigrants. Should your hard-earned money be given to illegal immigrants? Do you agree with this? This is what the Congress manifesto says.”
Did the PM say anything wrong? Read on!
Point 1: “Muslims have first claim to the nation’s resources.”
PM is clearly quoting the comment made by Manmohan Singh in December 2006. The newspaper reports, as well as the video of Manmohan Singh saying it out, are available for anybody to check. (see the image.) Manmohan Singh made this remark and PM Modi quoted this remark.
So, what are our “friends” protesting about?
Point 2: “Wealth distribution among those with more children”
It is a known fact that a certain community is multiplying indiscriminately, causing a great deal of concern to others. Think about it logically. What happens when they have more children?
- They continue to remain poor since they can’t earn enough to provide for their huge family.
- The government comes up with more measures to support them. And where does the government get the money for this. Yes, from the amount contributed by you and me, the taxpayer!
- Further, the governments continue to spend more to provide them with more opportunities, such as job reservations and education, to uplift their standard of living.
As you can see, our wealth and nation’s resources get distributed among those with more children like this. Who are the losers in this scenario? Yes, it is us, who restrict the number of children. Those of us with 1–2 children, who work hard to provide a good standard of living to our children are the losers in the above scenario.
The PM was bang on, when he made these remarks. Why is the Congress protesting?
Point 3: “Wealth distribution among illegal immigrants”
Consider the below:
- Congress is against the CAA. They want CAA to include the majority community in the neighboring nations as well.
- Their manifesto says that they will revoke CAA if they come to power
- This means that they are against those who had to run to India due to persecution Why are they against the CAA? Because the CAA excludes the majority community in the neighboring nations!
Point 4: Rohingyas and other illegal immigrants
It’s also a known fact that Congress always adopts a soft approach when it comes to illegal immigrants. Have you ever heard a single Congress leader talk about the deportation of illegal immigrants. No, because they are always afraid of their consolidated vote bank.
In fact, Congress leaders like Kapil Sibal and Rajiv Dhawan even appeared for the Rohingyas in the Supreme Court, to prevent them from being deported. If you allowed illegal immigrants to stay in the country, wouldn’t your wealth get distributed? Yes, it will.
Why is the Congress protesting, because the PM spoke about this?
Point5: Wealth Distribution and Congress Manifesto
The Congress manifesto has dedicated an entire page in their manifesto dedicated to what they will do for the “minorities”. In fact Rahul Gandhi even said that they will do a survey to redistribute the wealth among various communities.
The Congress can mention it in their manifesto. But the PM shouldn’t speak about it? What kind of logic is that?
Do you want your hard-earned wealth to be redistributed? If you want this nation to progress well, please vote wisely. Vote to bring Narendra Modi back with a bigger margin, so that we can secure the lives of our future generations.
Do you want your hard-earned wealth to be redistributed? If the answer is No and if you want this nation to progress well, please vote wisely. Vote to bring Narendra Modi back with a bigger margin, so that we can secure the lives of our future generations.
